[WIP] Module: Binding Event Path Sampling
This module develops a new approach based on path sampling, which is specifically designed to study binding events. This new approach solves the problem that a binding process can have many metastable states; more than are easily identified by trying to enumerate them all. However, all of these states are similar in that they can be characterized by long-lived contacts. The new approach implemented in this module is a path sampling method based on this observation, which enables exploration of the binding/unbinding dynamics without predefining all the metastable states.
This is one of two modules to replace https://gitlab.e-cam2020.eu/e-cam/Classical-MD-Modules/merge_requests/31 (for split, see comment at https://gitlab.e-cam2020.eu/e-cam/Classical-MD-Modules/merge_requests/31#note_1605)
